Cable and HDMI connectors

HDMI is becoming progressively synonym for quality audio/video and hdmi splitters are thus becoming necessity for exploiting hassle free usage of multiple HDMI devices. Ever developing and advancing electronics industries, increased competition boosting the quality of electronics goods for greater pleasure and satisfaction of customers.
More and more devices are now coming with the HDMI port for high definition quality of audio and video. The quality is achieved through proving connectivity to uncompressed digital signal. HDMI splitters provide simultaneous connectivity of different such HDMI devices to one HDMI source. Earlier ubiquitous presence of VGA graphic standard for display device in almost all computers makes it very common. Apart in computers VGA cable is used to connect games console to the existing computer display for getting better video quality than CRT television set. It though does not provide superior quality when compared with component video or HDMI but its huge deployment and low cost of vga cable will remain an attractive reason for its continued usage.
HDMI option however, now becoming common with high end devices and started percolating down to low end devices too. Different types of connectors are now defined to be used for different HDMI versions of specifications to make it popular. These are intended for static and large devices. Small size connector type C, similar to type A connector, used with cables as per HDMI 1.3 version specification and even further smaller size connectors like miniature USB type D is used with cables as per HDMI 1.4 version specification.
