A camera battery supplies power to the camera for its smooth functioning. Without a camera battery, the camera will not be operational. A camera battery is the most important part of a camera. There are different types and models of camera batteries to suit different types of camera in the market. The cameras batteries are designed to respond to different camera models. Two of the main categories of camera batteries are the AA batteries and the rechargeable batteries.
The rechargeable batteries are also known as the proprietary batteries. Both these camera batteries are used in the digital cameras. The rechargeable camera batteries are lighter in weight and are more expensive as compared to other batteries. The AA-size batteries are also used as camera batteries. These batteries are also used in other electronic devices and have standby a life of about 3-4 hours. All the camera batteries are detachable and can be removed from the cameras. The rechargeable camera batteries can be recharged and used again while other camera batteries are just use and thro types. The efficiency of camera batteries has improved over a period of time.
The high definition cameras use better camera batteries to achieve highest performance of the camera. Most of the companies producing cameras also produce the camera batteries depending on the camera models and sizes. The replaceable batteries are manufactures by Sony, Canon, and Kodak. It is always required to carry some extra camera batteries while travelling as the camera batteries are the life of the camera.
